do you accept MacBook at the store for credit toward a newer model

I want to find out what value my current laptop still has in order to use it for Apple credit toward a new laptop. I am not sure which new laptop i want yet.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Apple does not do trade-ins. You can sell it on your own through eBay or services like Gazelle.com or through your local paper's want-ads.
